We currently have an opening in our corporate office for an LP Analyst - Exception Reporting.

Responsibilities include researching key risk transactions and utilizing exceptions to identify fraud through the Aspect reporting system. As needed, provide direction to Regional Loss Prevention Managers on Aspect research to ensure optimal productivity; Provide Scorecard transactional reporting to the Store Agents that identify trends by store, district, and company; Identify areas of risk within the company and conduct research to identify possible fraud or exposures and provide recommendations to implement controls. The candidate must have the ability to successfully partner with Store Operations in order to accomplish these goals.

Essential Functions:

Identify Internal and External theft through the use of the Aspect system

Prepare investigations for District and Regional Loss Prevention Managers.

Creation of Aspect queries that will most likely indicate fraud.

Provide post-case analysis on internal cases to identify key breakdowns in policy or systems and make recommendations to prevent future occurrences.

Maintain Aspect system to include testing and implementation of new versions or upgrades.

Maintain accurate Loss Prevention records and submit required reports in a timely manner to all appropriate parties.

Manage all reporting on cash over/shorts, missing deposits, charge backs from Sales Audit to ensure format, completeness and timing of reports is as needed to conduct investigations. Distribute to the Store Agents on a weekly and/or monthly basis.

Management of company case files to ensure all cases are logged and then filed with all pertinent paperwork.

Communicate with store management and associates on all Loss Prevention issues in order to assist them in their understanding of the Loss Prevention department.

Issue alarm codes to appropriate personnel and communicate codes and call lists to alarm companies.

Occasionally travel when necessary, travels due to court testimony, high profile internal investigations, meetings and seminars.

Adhere to and abide by all company policy and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

2+ yrs. of financial analysis and/or loss prevention related to credit card fraud experience.

Preferred two (2) years Loss Prevention experience in a retail environment.

Possess a strong background in data analysis in order to identify emerging trends and develop systems that can efficiently analyze the data on a recurring basis.

Knowledge and understanding of exception reporting systems.

Operate at an expert level in Microsoft Excel and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Access.

Clear and effective oral and written communication skills.

Sound analytical and decision-making skills.
