Windows Media Center (eHome MCE), Windows Media Player, Zune, Xbox, and 60+ portable media devices are among the products built on our technology. A critical factor for the continued success of the Windows media ecosystem is to prevent content piracy, and one of the key technologies for combating content piracy is Windows Media DRM. As the amount of content protected by Windows Media DRM continues to grow, and the types of content being protected becomes more compelling (Digital Cable, HD-DVD, etc.), we must continue to rapidly increase the robustness of Windows Media DRM. We are looking for a test engineer to write test plans, design test cases, and ultimately help engineer high quality Windows Media DRM technologies on Win 7. The position requires strong communication and technical strengths as you will own driving testing for features that overlap with partner teams. Strong test methodology and a desire to grow in a technically diverse environment is a must. This is a fast-paced group that rewards smart and motivated individuals. You will have ample opportunity to diversify and grow. Basic Qualifications: Coding experience in C and C++; Software testing, Computer Science background; background in Design, Debugging, Debuggers, Visual Studio. Preferred Qualifications: Windows Media Content, Platform; IIS; COM; Databases; Cryptography, Digital Rights Management, Security, Protocols, Networking, Web Services, RSA, AES, ECC, Multimedia, Audio, Video, AV, MPEG, 3GPP, .NET, Synchronization, Threads, Multithreading, Experience with networking components and kernel mode device driver interface (DDI) testing; test plans, test scripts, BA/ BS in Computer Science.
