Join the service revolution for Mobile & Live! This new team is working on new scenarios and novel challenges - it's a role in which you can make your mark. We're enabling mass adoption and unleashing high revenue returns for Mobile and Live via partners so that by 2010, 2 out of 3 online users interact with our syndicated and monetizable services each day. Syndication Central is emerging as a high visibility technology team adding high value to Microsoft's bottom. As a SDET you'll own ensuring scenarios across financial management reconciliation, business intelligence, reporting and the partner facing portal. Responsibilities: Test plan and strategy for end to end scenarios Contribute to engineering excellence and best practices Design, implement reusable and extendable automation framework Active participation in technical investigations and prototyping. Test data collection (ETL) and aggregation from Live Services. Test reporting systems for internal and external partners. Cross group collaborative work with Mobile and Live Services teams. Competencies: Candidate should have at least 4 years of software development or services experience. A strong background in Database design and development is required. Experience in Data Warehouse (ETL, OLAP) and SQL Reporting Services. Experience with WTT and/or VSTS is required. Experience in MAUI and/or ECHO test frameworks is desired. Knowledge of agile development methodologies (e.g. SCRUM, RUP). A BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field is required. One of SC's guiding principles is "no meetings" across the team one day a week - great for heads down work and potentially from the location where you do your best work.
